It’s back to Swindon in search for league points
Clevedon return to Hunt’s Copse, Swindon on Saturday, the scene of their recent 6-0 Errea Cup success, to meet Swindon Supermarine but this time in search of league points. It’s safe to say that Swindon will filed a stronger side this time around and will prove much tougher opposition as they seek revenge for that defeat and we will need to show the same form we did in the second half of our win at Didcot to bring back the points. Swindon beat us 2-1 at The Hand in the reverse league match so we too have some revenge to obtain; Mitchell Page scoring our goal in that August defeat. Swindon are currently 12th in the table and are unbeaten in their last 6 league matches and their last six home league matches, so it will be a tough match for the Seasiders.
