The Romans are coming!
This coming Saturday we entertain Cirencester Town, the Centurions
, in a BGB league match, kick off at 3.00. Cirencester and Clevedon have already met twice this season, with both matches in Gloucestershire, the Seasiders winning 1-0 in the F A Cup in September, thanks to Christian Sylvester, and 2-1 in December with Mike Symons and Danny Haines securing all three league points. Our guests are having a poor run at the moment, having lost their last 5 league games, and have dropped into the relegation zone so it’s safe to say that they will be fired up for the match with their need for points becoming ever more crucial to their survival. Mike Symons is a former Cirencester player, along with Kevin Davies and the injured Steve Cook, so that will give the game added spice.
