Clevedon made a number of team changes for this FA Cup replay match with Truro City, Sean Seavill and Matt Rawlins returned to the starting line-up.
The seasiders scored a late Danny Haines injury time goal, to win this pulsating end to end encounter in a match where City had most of the possession during the 90 minutes, however, Clevedon's solid defensive display restricted Truro to a handful of scoring opportunities throughout the game. The match was marred by two serious injuries when Clevedon's Sean Seavill, and City skipper Tom Smith had to be taken to hospital.
Clevedon's winner came in the 2nd minute of injury time much to the delight of the traveling supporters, when a Danny Haines corner kick was cleared by City, only for the lively winger to pick up the loose ball and shoot across Dan Stevenson into the corner of the net and end Truro's dream of an FA Cup upset!
Tonight's result earns Clevedon a home tie with Willand Rovers on Sept 30th.
